Study
Our research subject is statistical physics, focusing on irreversible phenomena in nature. We are broadly engaged in research on "nonequilibrium physics," pursuing new nonequilibrium phenomena and studying the universality of nonequilibrium states.
Specific topics include "Stochastic thermodynamics", "Thermalization and dynamics in isolated many-body quantum systems", and "Mesoscopic transport".
